It’s cold. The weather, I mean. Windy, cloudy, dark. And, I am happily sipping my hot cup of ginger tea and sort of enjoying the weather, wrapped in a warm light shawl at work. Yes, monsoon has arrived. This time I did not wait for it anxiously, the way I used to. Because, the weather here has always been so good – pleasant, comfortable and not too extreme. During monsoons, I specially crave for certain foods – khichdi, masala chai/ginger tea, hot fritters, soups, and corn cobs with a dash of lemon. Mouth watering. Isn’t? ๐Ÿ™‚

And yes, monsoon time without good music? Not done. ย There are plenty actually. I particularly love, rimjhim gire saawan…sulag sulag jaaye mann…ย from an old-time movie Manzil. But, right now listening to this one – it’s magical ๐Ÿ™‚

What’s yourย favoriteย food for the monsoon and the music you love playing in the loop?
