After a long time, had a nice memorable weekend
! The weather was perfect and decided to take mom out…We cruised all the way to the beautiful statue amidst the Hussain Sagar Lake. It stood beautiful. Though, I was quite pained to see the edges of a beautiful water body/lake polluted

Clouds hovering all over

The Buddha’s statue amidst lake

Very well sculpted at the base

Fading sunset…
Followed by a chocolaty icecream treat
and shopping….! Mom was happy and I was glad to see the happines on her face

Really good pictures! I liked statue photo taken from the base, nice angle to it. Sounds like you had a great time and happy to know mom was happy. I have seen the statue many times on visit to HYD but never been on a boat there to see from up close.

Awesome pics Dew .. I loved the Buddha statue one … well taken
The sculpted base has come out really well
Hussain Sagar is such a beautiful place na … we go there almost every Saturday evening … its so relaxing
Its really sad abt the polluting thing
With so many trash cans around, people still want to throw the bottles etc.. into the lake
Stringent action has to be taken against such ppl to protect these beautiful places
Glad to know u hd a gr8 weekend
Cheers to many more!

Thanks a ton sweety…Yeah it’s really disheartening to see the area polluted… The meer thought irritates me that how can people be so careless when they are the ones who hang around a beautiful place like that, why can’t ppl just treat it as they wud treat their dwellin places
….
Have seen at least slight development on that front by fencin it around some portions, but a lot more effort is required i guess… to make it worthwhile..!
