I have always supported any cause that works towards children or women’s development. Healthy children develop a strong and stable mind while women nurture a healthy family …all this directly/indirectly leads to a super social development and a bright & promising future ahead!
The reason I am discussing this here is I have realised that I have a few silent visitors of my blog, who may not spare time to leave comments
but my humble request to them would be to click on the socialvibe tab in the left hand of the page…! At the click of a button, L’Oréal Paris would donate money to help World Food Programme that provides 30 hungry children with the nutrients they need for an entire year.
“Let us do our bit in whatever small ways we can “– My sincere urge!!
-Thank you all!

Did you see that on TV? Belgian milk producers dumped a million liters of fresh milk in fields yesterday, protesting against stagnant milk prices and demanding that they be paid more for the milk! Was that a colossal waste or not? There are a Billion people on this planet that go hungry every day. To dump a million liters of good milk like that is uneducated and insensitive and a stupid way to protest isn’t it? I was aghast when I saw it on TV last night, it was on all networks including Indian ones.

Oh really???? That’s simply frivolous and insane!!! What did they gain out of this in the end?? I mean do people actually think twice before they do such things? PROTEST ? or they actually proved their insanity!

I was really disappointed with the Belgian milk producers. It was also on NDTV, we get the service here on cable and other channels here. Here is a clip of this (in Hindi) that I found on youtube. What’s the World coming to with this kind of attitude of so-called first world citizens, whatever their grouse maybe.

Anup, it’s really heart-rending to watch this! Thanks for sharing this video, I did not imagine to this extent that they have played around while millions are deprived of even a square meal
!! This is a shameful act of humanity!!! I wonder what does their govt have to say or do about it??

Shameful indeed and terribly insensitive, I wonder whether these Belgian milk farmers know what the rest of the World looks like or not. Their Government, no doubt, will look at the “plight” of their farmers favorably, they are a vote bank I would imagine.

Yes, am afraid so!!! Other NGO’s or even the United Nations must stir this issue well enough and punish them in a way that they donate equivalent amount for the loss of milk from their farmers pockets or the government to the needy & make up for this insanity! How can this be tolerated at all??? It’s indeed ridiculous!
