Kashmir belongs to all!

Tears and pain …
Is all that you see…
In their eyes, in their smile…
I feel helpless, I feel miserable…
Can someone give me a pinch of hope?

Recent discussions with a Kashmiri friend of mine inspired me to rummage through the Kashmir’s conflict that’s been going on for quite some time now. I did some online research…and educated myself on the whereabouts…and was pained to learn the coercion, tyranny and injustice inflicted on Kashmiri Pandits who are living like refugees in their own country.

I carry the guilt now for not paying heed towards such a critical issue …since I felt secured and slept peacefully during the nights here thinking our people are guarded and protected. Each one of us has the right to our motherland…the bond which is stronger than any religion or political gain.

Its’ insanity…its cruelty…it’s barbaric to even think of captivating the right to live from their own land. The valley belongs to all and not anyONE’s prerogative. My prayers, my support goes wholeheartedly towards all those struggling day and night to earn their dignity back.
