Let all of us get united, join our hands and courageously fight against terrorism because our current system has failed to do so. Let us fight against the system that has failed to provide us security. Let us fight against the barbaric and heinous terrorists who have made it difficult for us and our families to lead a normal life. Let us participate and be more active in the national whereabouts. Let us wake ourselves up and fight for a cause which is becoming catastrophic day by day. Our government can’t be trusted any more; it’s we who need to shield ourselves against these cold blooded terrorists.

Its the fourth day and still the city is wrapped under terror attacks. Its shameful, that these bloody terrorists(unfortunately human beings) have been successful in their attempts. An attempt to slaughter, an attempt to create a mayhem, an attempt to shake the whole country. These terrorists certainly do not belong to any religion since no religion teaches this. Its a war against humanity and I express my resentment strongly towards this carnage that’s going on in Mumbai killing so many innocent lives. What rights are they fighting for? Who are they fighting for? When there would be no life left, who would enjoy these rights?

I feel terribly sick thinking what the victims are going through at this point of time. Any amount of empathy or condolence would not help combat this crisis in the family…! Blessed are those who survived however.

Who gives them the right to kill innocent lives and create panic and terror??? Holy Almighty?

With films like Bheja Fry, Mithya and Dasvidania…Bollywood has emerged with a different genre of film-making…and it is a treat indeed. A simple story line with brilliant characters and performances delivered. There are certain neat comic scenes in the film with strong punch lines… which certainly deserves a strong appreciation.

“Life’s too unpredictable”…and one should do all those things that he/she desires to do in a lifetime…make a “Things to Do” list if you can…make them a part of your ambition and achieve them :-)

Jaania… Haania… Jaania Haania Tu Vi Sikh Ke De Dukh Sukh Pholna
Tere Bin Nahi Lagda Dil Mera Dholna
Puchh kaale baddlan to Seene Vich Ag Lage Lang Gaya Kayee Barsatan
Tur Gayo Sajna Neendran Kho Ke Jaag Ke Katiyan Rataan
Avija Na Sata Wasta Pyaar da ye ruttan Sohniya Murr Nai Aaniya
Tere bin nai lagda dil mera…

Jaane Khuda Meharbaan Tere Siva
Kon Mera Kadi Na Howi Juda Chori Na(Tori Na) Saath Mera

Dil Tenu Day Bethi Khabre To Aisay Nai Karna Ey Beparwaiyaan
Keetay Waday Qasmaan Tenu Yaad Kadi Nai Aayan
Ey Gila Pyaar Da Khol aake suna pyiase naina te Ker Mehrbaniyan
Tere Bin, Tere Bin Nahi Lagda Dil Mera Dholna

Sundays should genuinely be like; waking up late and there’s no rush at all!!! It indeed turns out to be a bonus when you wake up to find…it’s cloudy and wintry and how you would want to snuggle back to the comforter and expect someone to get a hot cup of adraki chai…at your service.

Further by lunch theres some freshly made Vegetable Pulao and raita to devour…followed by a short nap…and Gobi ke paranthe, masala dahi, Tofu-capsicum-onion stir for dinner.

Only lazing around, eating and sleeping…and nothing else on a SUNDAY…

Lonesome I yearned for good times,
times that would witness harmony,
times that would bring peace,
times that would seek solace.

Come! Give me some faith,
faith to live, faith to dream,
hold me close enough,
to make me believe,
that..that time is not too far!

He called Reena exceedingly late in the night. She thought it was a general call. He sounded pensive. “Did you have your dinner?” Reena asked. “Well, yes I had macaroni mince” and then he paused and continued, “Reena, my mom’s elder sister is in ICU and has been kept under ventilator. You know they give a support when it’s predictable and nearly fatal. “She gasped on hearing this since she knew how his aunt had raised his mother & the bond was so strong that the loss would be irreparable.

He was planning to pay a visit to his aunt at Allahabad, when Reena said, “Don’t worry too much, get some good sleep and call up your relatives’ to check tomorrow morning’s progress on her health and then start off immediately for Delhi, since it was only via Delhi that he could reach Allahabad after 16 hours of strenuous travel. “Hmm” …”Okay”…is all that he said and hung up. Few minutes later he called up again, and Reena thought may be he is too stressed to sleep, when he shrugged his voice and whispered, “Reena, my aunt expired at 10.40 pm in the night. Just received the news”!

Emotions flowed earnestly… she held her tight against her bosom…for a long…long time and then she was alarmed to leave…
