U said i’ll love,
U said i’ll care,
But when surrounded with the biggest fear,
U were nowhere…….
U left alone,
U left me cryin,
And claimed to b a saviour
While i was dyin…….
When i needed u the most,
When there was left no hope,
When tried hard to survive,
You left me apart,
While sayin i was nearby……
Now, iam dying ,
Tired or tryin,
Please tak me to peace,
I am the man u created ,
Which u never realized……
Now in these painful moments ,
help me my dear CHRIST!!!!!!
Courtsey – A very dear friend of mine(V)
She was not too well but somehow she was not willing to skip the meeting and rest. Instead, she headed for the meet. The meeting started and her pain grew intense. She started feeling uneasy. He could perhaps sense and could feel through her eyes. At the crucial point he interrupted without even giving her a hint what he is going to announce and amidst all he said they may have to leave as she could not sit through …due to her pain. All attendees there got amazed probably at the sudden interference…but she was spellbound and never expected such a concern! …However, all empathized with the situation…and further they could leave the place.
On the way back, he cracked his jokes to create a light atmosphere and preferred to drop near her home. Throughout the journey in the rick he ensured she was alright by asking the driver to go slow and checking if she was fine and all…!He waited until she reached her doorstep safely…!
Can you sense that masked …immense pain… and sorrow behind the smiling face….?
It’s never happened in my life…and hopefully should be a history hereafter…! I know I have a major problem with remembering things or rather forgetting things…but this one beats all…! Well…I was supposed to appear for an exam on 4th Feb and I totally forgot about it. I remembered when I was left with just 2 hours in hand without any preparation and that too unexpectedly. Thankfully, it was something related to my professional ability so managed to randomly scan through some online stuff and finally decided to appear for my exam. (Fingers crossed)…At this point of my life, I am just pleading everyone to include me in their two minutes’ prayers so that somehow I pass this exam ‘cause…after this… I would be a certified PG Holder J!!
I love old hindi flicks….and currently I am awestruck by the classical genre of film making…and moved by the recent two movies that I played on my home-theater. “Do Bigha Zameen” and “Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam…” What a style, and what a performance delivery by Meena Kumari. Such innocence and nuances of emotions were just worthy of appreciations throughout. I was spellbound!
On the other hand “Do Bigha Zameen” was a film which was portraying the farmer’s penchant to save his handful of land from the zamindar. Again a brilliant and evergreen performance by Balraj Sahni and the kid. There were instances in the film which was so moving like the restlessness of the kid to support his father in earning money and buy bangles for his mother. Another one being when the kid quietly puts back the money in the pot when given to have his dinner by lying that he wasn’t feeling too well, so that he could save money for the day. Amazingly shot and a touching storyline of the yesteryears…!
