M – “Maturity comes from the strength of character…when one learns to give and be selfless most of the times…you are sensitive not only to yourself but also those around you…”

  1. Fyodor Dostoevsky’s short story, “White Nights”
  2. Love Letters by A.R. Gurney
  3. 84 Charing Cross Road – Helene Hanff.

A girl, a daughter, a sister, and now…someone’s would be wife, daughter-in law, sister-in-law…

Well, I saw the movie yesterday…and had a feel-good factor after watching it…this is literally a piece of an art, and it would impress the art lovers. It’s certainly not for the mass entertainment, running around trees and a typical bollywood masala movie. The director’s love for making classical movies is clearly depicted. The sets are breathtaking. It did remind me of Raj Kapoor movies of yesteryears, like Awaara, Sri 420, Jis desh mein ganga behti hai etc…  which were of similar genre … and I liked it for its simplicity, freshness, and innocence.

It isn’t that worse as been hyped… I am sure Sanjay Bhansali (The Director) after delivering such great hits like Devdas, Black, etc would not have ventured into something senseless without any vision. Each character was suitably chosen and all made justice to their respective roles.

True love is all about sacrifice…for the one…you love truly… after all!!

OSO Ok…after saawariya, how can I forget its rival…the much awaited Shahrukh’s release Om Shanti Om…! Well…it is an entertainer of the sort wherein, you need to take a break and go for a hearty senseless laughter. It’s an intended drama of its kinds, the typical bollywood filmy isshtyle..! Deepika was so seasoned…and chilled out…!!
