Brilliant adaptation of my unstructured thoughts…through this piece of article which was shared by one of my friends Aishwarya. Until I read this I used to somehow plan in a subtle way to work upon something like this, to retire early after earning a generous amount for subsistence and then move to a nature bound remote place and start living. More than anything else I guess I would be glad about not being surrounded by maddening crowd which is the chief facet of an urban life, would escape the non-stop noisy & growing traffic, stop breathing polluted air, the incessant honking of vehicles…and to top it all the rat race that city dwellers are most accustomed to. Instead, breathe fresh air, eat organic food, live with simple folks and lead a simple life.
Hence, sometime down the line would invest in a plot amidst serenity and spend the rest of my life in a house having a nice vegetation around.. Initially perhaps I would be missing on the city amenities that we are so used to… like good schools, hospitals, theaters, movies, and food zones but I guess by that time I would be saturated enough to give up all and lead a stress free and carefree life. Nevertheless I would have other tasks to do to keep myself engaged for example educate some of the underprivileged section and motivate them to go to schools or may teach them and help them choose their careers or livelihood, or even start a small time enterprise to employ some needy ones..
And for entertainment, DVDs and BOOKS, my all time informative and favorite companions…shall be there to keep me content. Besides this once in a while shall travel here and there to some of my desired places to explore and meet new people and experience the best part of my life.
As someone rightly said, it needs careful planning, self-conviction and tremendous support of your near and dear ones without which it would be a distant dream..!
