I love this season….the first rainfall on the parched earth which fills the air with that intoxicating smell you can’t resist but enjoy it J Its an ideal weather to spend a day sipping a hot cup of “chai” with crunchy home made “pakodas”…and enjoy the clouds and “baarish”!! It’s the season when you would want to get drenched and splash the water around… (I remember I enjoyed doing that as a kid and …and still would want to do that.)
Nevertheless, it’s a curse for some without shelters…and makes it in-fact tough to earn a living for the day…but that’s how life is all about..not rosy and cozy always!
Something you can never forget in life..
Something you cherish for the rest of your life..
The initial wooing and cooing..
and love breeds in a while!
Tender fights and woes,
But merrier it is as the love grows..
Weaving sweet dreams all the time..
That’s all about being in love day & night
It’s painful… yes..it is.
Its not always at ease..
You live with it and dwell in it..
& its tough to stop thinkin’ about it!
A sense of achievement runs down my whole being at the completion of this book..introduced by R.K. Narayan. Tremendously captivating, about a tender love story that flourished during the struggle to attain freedom. A young, confused and aimless lad brought up by his grandmother falls in love with a naive, orphan girl. The desire to own her chalks out his dstiny… and unwittingly he involves himself in the political movement. How finely the thoughts have been conceived during the times, when people noticed the national leaders and overlooked thousands who attempted in their own capable ways to free our country from the clutches of british rulers.
I salute and shall respect all of them who have left no stone unturned, pained themselves and sacrificed their loved ones to enable us a free nation.
